Jessie Caraco
Lead Program Support & Recreation Specialist
About Jessie
Jessie Caraco (Denver) serves as Lead Program Staff, Activities Manager, and Staff Trainer at Chateau Health & Wellness.
Her path into this work was shaped by her own recovery from a brain injury, which is why she feels strongly connected to the modalities used at Chateau.
Because she has personally had to experiment with tools, routines, and nervous system regulation strategies to heal, Jessie brings a practical, grounded perspective that helps clients feel more willing to try something new.
Role at Chateau and Day to Day Responsibilities
In her role, Jessie helps strengthen the program from both sides, client support and staff development.
She trains new employees, plans and executes weekend activities, mentors clients through challenging moments, and supports insurance documentation.
In addition, she leads Yoga Nidra and helps clients practice regulation skills they can take beyond treatment.
What Jessie finds most rewarding is seeing the light return to clients’ eyes and watching meaningful change happen quickly when the right tools finally click.
Specialized Focus in Brain Injury Recovery and Whole Person Wellness
Jessie’s clinical and wellness interests include brain injury recovery, trauma and PTSD support, mental health and stress management, physical wellness, and mindfulness based practices.
She also values recreational therapy, yoga, meditation, neurofeedback, and experiential tools that help clients rebuild confidence through action.
Because TBIs and brain injuries are more common among first responders and veterans than many people realize, Jessie’s lived experience helps her connect with that specific struggle in a way that feels credible.
She uses her story to reduce stigma, increase curiosity, and encourage clients to build a new foundation and a realistic toolbox for life after treatment.
Life Outside of Work
Outside of work, Jessie spends as much time outdoors as possible. She enjoys backcountry snowboarding and split boarding, snowshoeing, hiking, camping, fishing, biking, and kayaking. She also enjoys dog training, yoga, meditation, and cold plunging, all of which reflect the same balance of discipline and regulation she supports in the clients she serves.
