COVID-19 Policy for Chateau Health & Wellness

At Chateau Health & Wellness, the health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. We have implemented comprehensive COVID-19 protocols based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure the continued safety of everyone in our care — including those preparing to begin their recovery journey.

1. Our COVID-19 Protocols May Include:
  • Pre-admission COVID-19 screening for all incoming patients

  • Routine cleaning and disinfection of all facilities, surfaces, and shared supplies

  • Requiring staff to stay home if they experience any symptoms of illness

  • Ongoing health monitoring of all patients for signs of COVID-related symptoms

  • Reducing unnecessary close contact between patients and staff

  • Providing easy access to hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies throughout the facility

2. Rehab as a Safer Environment

In many cases, entering treatment may be safer than remaining in your current living situation. Rehab provides a structured, medically supported environment that is separated from the broader community — which can help reduce risk of exposure while allowing focused attention on healing and recovery.

If you or someone you love is facing addiction or mental health challenges, now may be the best time to seek professional help. Chateau offers a range of evidence-based treatment options for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.

3. Preventing the Spread

In addition to our in-house protocols, we encourage all individuals to follow these CDC-recommended practices to help prevent the spread of COVID-19:

  • Wash hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water

  • Use hand sanitizer when soap is not available

  • Avoid touching your face

  • Cover your mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing, and wash your hands afterward

  • Practice physical distancing when possible

  • Avoid close contact with individuals who may be sick

  • Stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms

  • Disinfect frequently touched surfaces

4. Staying Informed and Adapting

As public health information continues to evolve, so too will our procedures. We closely monitor all developments related to COVID-19 and adjust our practices as needed to align with the most current guidance.

Chateau Health & Wellness remains open and committed to providing essential treatment for individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges — now and always.
