Do you need a crew on the yacht?
I want to understand that it is better to take the yacht with or without a crew. We are experienced travelers with friends, but there are no yachting skills. Some say that the crew is comfort, others that extra people will interfere. We plan to go for a week, see several islands, not to think about the weather, routes and so on. But also do not want to overpay. Share your experience: is it really comfortable without a crew or still better to have professionals around? And how does this affect the atmosphere?

I think it depends on what kind of experience you want, same like in photography where the result changes a lot depending on how things are handled. Even small choices can affect the whole vibe. I noticed something similar when learning about different types of camera shots and how perspective changes everything. It’s not just about the subject but how it’s presented. With a crew it’s more structured and relaxed, without it feels more free but also less predictable.
