About Tyler
Tyler Teuscher’s work in residential treatment began in 2014, marking the start of a career centered on helping individuals access meaningful and effective care.
Early on, he became an integral part of respected non profit treatment centers such as First Step House and The Haven, where he developed a strong understanding of treatment operations, client needs, and the real world barriers people face when seeking help.
Through these roles, Tyler built a foundation grounded in compassion, accountability, and systems level awareness, experiences that continue to shape his approach today.
Leadership Through Financial and Operational Insight
After several years in direct residential treatment work, Tyler expanded his impact by joining Mountain Valley Recovery in 2017 as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he brought financial expertise and strategic leadership to the organization, helping strengthen operational efficiency and long term sustainability.
This blend of clinical environment familiarity and financial leadership gives Tyler a unique perspective. He understands both the human side of treatment and the structural requirements needed to ensure programs remain accessible, ethical, and effective.
Commitment Beyond the Role
Tyler’s dedication to mental health and substance use recovery extends well beyond his day to day responsibilities. He has served on multiple boards of directors for local non profit organizations focused on supporting individuals and families impacted by mental health and substance use challenges.
These experiences reflect a deep commitment to community involvement and advocacy, reinforcing his belief that access to care should be supported at both the individual and systemic levels.

As Director of Admissions at Chateau Health & Wellness, Tyler plays a critical role in helping individuals and families navigate the often overwhelming process of entering treatment. He takes pride in breaking down barriers to care, whether financial, logistical, or emotional.
Tyler works closely with each individual to understand their circumstances and guide them toward the most appropriate level of care. His approach is thoughtful, transparent, and solution focused, ensuring that people feel supported from the very first point of contact.
