First Responder Alumni Support

About Lisa

Lisa Pascaldo serves as an Alumni Specialist at Chateau Health & Wellness, where she provides ongoing support and guidance to alumni, with a particular focus on first responders.

She brings a deep commitment to service, shaped by decades of professional experience and a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by those in emergency services.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and retired after a distinguished 30-year career in law enforcement. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in developing and implementing a Peer Support and Wellness program within her department.

Her work helped establish a culturally competent Employee Assistance Program and strengthened collaboration with mental health providers to better support officers and staff.

Experience in Wellness, Training, and Legislative Advocacy

In addition to her law enforcement career, Lisa has completed extensive training and earned certifications in multiple areas of first responder wellness.

Her areas of focus include Critical Incident Stress, post-traumatic stress injury, trauma, peer support, and suicide prevention.

Through this work, she has become a respected advocate for prioritizing the mental health of those working in high-risk and high-stress environments.

Lisa’s advocacy has extended beyond direct support roles. She has spoken before the Utah State Legislature to address the impact of trauma exposure on first responders and to advocate for improved education, training, and resources that strengthen resilience and long-term wellbeing within these communities.

Role at Chateau Health & Wellness

At Chateau, Lisa channels her passion for service through compassion, empathy, and consistent support. She works closely with alumni to help them navigate life after treatment, offering guidance, encouragement, and connection as they continue their recovery journey.

Her approach is grounded in trust, accountability, and a deep respect for the experiences of first responders and their families.

Life Outside of Work

Outside of her professional role, Lisa finds renewal and balance in the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing, and exploring the canyon country of Southern Utah. Her love of adventure extends into writing and photography, with her work published in several outdoor magazines.

Lisa also values physical discipline and mental clarity, which she cultivates through road biking and training in jiu-jitsu, where she holds a third-degree blue belt. These practices reflect the resilience, focus, and self-awareness she brings into both her personal life and her work with alumni.

Lisa exemplifies resilience, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to supporting first responders in their pursuit of healing and long-term wellness.
