About Blake
Medical Leadership Grounded in Family and Emergency Medicine
Blake Rapier is a Physician Assistant and Assistant Medical Director who brings a strong foundation in general medicine and acute care into the addiction treatment setting.
He attended Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University for undergraduate studies in Biology before completing medical training in Ohio.
He graduated first in his class, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Findlay Physician Assistant Program.
After entering practice in 2006, Blake built extensive experience in both family medicine and emergency medicine. This background supports a well rounded clinical approach that prioritizes safety, stability, and whole person wellness for every client.
Focused Work in Addiction Medicine and Detox Care
In 2018, Blake transitioned into addiction medicine and helped establish an addiction treatment facility in Utah. Since then, he has continued to oversee inpatient medical detox services, supporting individuals through early stabilization and toward their sobriety goals.
Blake is certified and credentialed through the American Society of Addiction Medicine and is recognized with SAMHSA and the DEA.
His role blends medical oversight, detox safety, and ongoing clinical support, ensuring that clients receive high quality care while their nervous system and physiology stabilize enough to engage fully in treatment.
Patient Centered Philosophy
Blake enjoys practicing general medicine and values supporting the health of entire families. This perspective influences how he approaches addiction care, looking beyond symptoms to address underlying health needs and long term quality of life.
By combining medical structure with a calm, practical approach, he helps clients feel supported, understood, and safe during one of the most vulnerable stages of recovery.
