We are proud to announce that we have partnered with EMI Health to provide their members with the highest quality residential mental health and substance abuse treatment in the country.
About EMI Health
In the early 1930’s, a group of teachers founded the nonprofit organization that is now known as EMI Health. Back then, the one-time membership fee was only $4 (about $75 today)! During the subsequent 85 plus years, they have evolved into a successful full-service health insurance organization serving employer groups in both public and commercial sectors.
They offer medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits and services to corporate, government, public education, and higher education groups in Arizona, Georgia, Texas, and Utah. We also offer dental, vision, and telemedicine insurance plans to individuals and families in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah. Their dental plans are also sold through the Insurance Marketplaces in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah. In total, they currently cover more than 300,000 individuals through their products.
It is their mission to provide the best possible benefits at the lowest cost. EMI Health is guided by a board of directors made up of members and industry experts who are committed to that mission. With no stockholders to pay, excess earnings are redirected into lower premiums and better benefits.
For the past decade, they have built EMI Health into a name that brings a smile to the industry. With their award-winning customer service, nationally recognized wellness program, and access to large and robust provider networks, they are committed to providing a superb member experience. They are trustworthy, honest, and are dedicated to serving their members with the highest standard of service.
Because of that commitment, EMI Health has been named multiple times as a Utah Best of State company in the Insurance category of business services recognized as an outstanding organization succeeding in its endeavors to provide innovative approaches to healthcare insurance services that contribute significantly to a better quality of life in Utah.
EMI Health is here to stay and will be serving our community for many more years to come.
EMI health has a ratio of assets over liabilities that is one of the strongest in the industry and maintains a high ratio of surplus funds to policy reserve liabilities. EMI Health’s plans are underwritten or provided by Educators Mutual Insurance Association and Educators Health Plans Life, Accident and Health.
EMI Health Network Benefits for Residential Treatment
EMI Health works with providers to reduce the costs of Behavioral Health treatments. They will work with us to provide the needed care and assistance our patients need to regain their personal lives and careers.
Understanding your benefits can help patients and their loved ones choose the best treatment options for their individual needs and receive the best treatment mentally and physically. Here are some common questions that patients should ask about their BCBS plans to prepare for mental health care and rehab treatment:
Does my plan cover residential treatment?
How long will the plan cover your inpatient treatment and rehab stay?
Will the plan cover medications and prescription benefits?
What are my responsibilities for copays, premiums, deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums?
As an EMI Health provider, we know that having the answers to these questions will help prepare patients to work with us at Chateau Recovery. We as an organization will work to provide you with the most financially affordable and evidence-based treatments for both mental health, addiction, and substance abuse recovery for yourself or a loved one.
