Rebecca Trump

Rebecca has been married for 30 years, raising four adult children—three of whom are married—and is a proud grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren. Both of her sons served in the armed forces, as did her son-in-law, continuing a legacy of service within her family. She earned a BA in Business with minors in Finance and Marketing from Ashford University's Forbes Business School, followed by a Master's in General Psychology from the University of Arizona Global Campus. Currently, she’s pursuing a second Master's at Walden University with the goal of becoming a licensed mental health counselor, specializing in trauma and crises.

Throughout her career, Rebecca has worn many hats, including four years as a corrections officer and 14 years as a medical assistant. As a military spouse for 28 years, she lived in Texas, North Carolina, and Italy, each location offering unique lessons in cultural adaptability, personal growth, and an ability to connect with people from all walks of life. These experiences have shaped her open-minded approach, allowing her to meet others where they are.

Her spouse’s background in law enforcement also provides her with dual cultural insight into both military and law enforcement communities, further enriching her understanding of the unique challenges faced by those who serve. Adding to that, being the spouse of an alcoholic in recovery who faces mental health challenges, combined with her own personal mental health struggles, has only deepened Rebecca’s empathy and insight into the human condition. These experiences provide her with an authentic connection to the struggles faced by individuals and families alike, particularly those in high-stress professions.

Passionate about giving back, Rebecca is dedicated to supporting first responders as a way of expressing her gratitude for their service. She believes that her journey enables her to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, and she is committed to helping those who serve our communities find healing and hope.
