As the warm and welcoming face of Chateau Recovery, Hilda assumes the pivotal role of managing the front desk, serving as the initial point of contact for new clients. With an innate nurturing spirit, she extends beyond her official duties, ensuring guests feel cared for and maintaining the facility as a nurturing haven, earning her the title of the proverbial "den mother."

Apart from her receptionist responsibilities, Hilda doubles as a Human Resource assistant, exhibiting her versatility and commitment to the smooth functioning of the organization. Married to Mike for over 23 years, they embody a shared commitment to living life to the fullest.

Boasting an impressive 21 years of personal recovery experience, Hilda is an active and cherished member of the recovery community. She extends her support readily to those struggling, whether as a sponsor or by offering rides to meetings, embodying the essence of compassion and solidarity.

Her professional journey spans diverse roles, including 15 years with the Department of Justice in Portland, OR, specializing in law enforcement and Animal Cruelty and Neglect in Salem, Oregon. With a staggering 35 years of customer service expertise, Hilda's background reflects a wealth of experience and dedication to serving others.

Growing up as an Air Force Brat with her father, a Captain in the Air Force, Hilda imbibed discipline and adaptability, traits that continue to define her approach to life and work. Her love for the outdoors finds expression in cherished weekends spent at the mountain cabin she and her husband built, indulging in fishing and reveling in the tranquility of nature.
